The morning program focuses on sharing experiences in both working groups and plenary
sessions with external speakers. The morning program is exclusively for SelectionF members.

Helle Ahlenius Pallesen will provide an overview of the differences across the countries from a legal perspective based on her cross Nordic consultancy experiences.

Sanna Suvanto-Harsaae a true Nordic leadership profile will share her experiences based on board work with SAS, Finnair, BoConcept, TCM Group, Babysam, Orthex, Harvia, Broman group.

Maiken Mo, CEO and Chairperson of the Board within Nordic FMCG and retail. CEOs need to drive massive change in an macro environment with high uncertainty. How can the Board support the CEO in demanding times?

13.00 Addressing Strategic Board Challenges

The afternoon program addresses major issues driving the need for navigating change and transformation on a Nordic / International level. What can we learn from the past couple of turbulent years and how do we as boards prepare ourselves for the next wave of dramatic changes? We will have a mix of keynote presentations, panel discussions and dialogues in smaller groups.

Maria Hemberg, Reflections on board work from the board secretary’s perspective, Chief Legal Counsel of Volvo Cars, Maria Hemberg, will share some of her thoughts and learnings regarding diversity work, expectations on a board member and good governance

Jesper Lok, Reinventing from the Board Room, Board professional, strategic advisor and author of the book Reinvention from the Board Room Jesper will share his perspective on the role of the board in setting a renewed strategic direction.

Peter Haugaard Managing Partner and CEO of EY Denmark and part of the Nordic Management Team. The challenges of mobilizing and setting the team of the future in a highly volatile and competitive working environment.

Adam Kostyál, SVP and Head of European Listings & Capital Markets, Nasdaq, Stockholm. Adam will share his view on diversity from a stock exchange perspective.

Helle Thorning-Schmidt
Former prime minister of Denmark and Global Board. Professional. Outlook on geopolitical matters influencing the way we do business – what we need to prepare for.
