Turid Elisabeth Solvang is the founder and CEO of FutureBoards AS, a project-based enterprise comprising a network of national and international experts in corporate governance.

Solvang has extensive experience serving on boards and nomination committees for both commercial businesses and non-profit organisations. She is also a co-founder of the Norwegian Institute of Directors, European Women on Boards (EWOB), and the Women in Finance Charter, which she currently leads.

Solvang is a member of the World Economic Forum’s Expert Network on Gender Parity and Corporate Governance, as well as the Boards Impact Forum’s Expert Advisory Board.

She holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Business from BI Norwegian Business School, where she also completed a master’s programme in Scenario Analysis. Solvang is an experienced international speaker and writer on topics relating to corporate governance, including gender diversity on boards.
