Else Beth Trautner is an experienced chairperson, board member, and former international CEO with a track record of driving growth, transformation, and value creation across Life Sciences, diagnostics, technology, and industrial businesses. 

With more than 30 years of international leadership experience, she has led companies through acquisitions, mergers, post-merger integrations, commercial expansion, and strategic business development across Europe, North America, and Asia. She has worked successfully within family-owned, founder-led, venture-backed, and private equity environments.

Prior to her board career, Else Beth held senior executive positions at Dako/Agilent, Dräger Medical, and EuroDiagnostica/SVAR, where she led global commercial organizations, international partnerships, and growth initiatives in highly regulated and knowledge-intensive industries.

Today, she serves as Chairperson of Cbio and holds board positions in Uniogen, Danske Hoteller, Nymetal, and Women in Life Science. She is particularly recognized for her expertise in governance, growth strategy, risk management, international business development, and the impact of geopolitics on corporate decision-making.

Else Beth is a certified board leader and has completed executive education programs at CBS, INSEAD, IMD, and Wharton. She is also a graduate of the Danish Chief of Defence’s Course in International Security Policy and is an active mentor, lecturer, and contributor to board and leadership development initiatives.
