Workshop on Positioning and Branding yourself as a Board Candidate

In this workshop, you will gain insights and tools on how to position yourself as an attractive board candidate and how to use communication as a tool to showcase your expertise and opinions. Boards are composed of individuals based on their competencies, but also on their willingness to influence and drive change. Through effective leadership communication, you can highlight both.

In this workshop, you will receive practical tips and examples on how to build your brand and position yourself from Kristine Meek, partner at the communications agency Sannum & Bergestuen, and Christina Endresen, country lead SelectionF Norway.

Kristine Meek has extensive experience in positioning leaders and knows that being skilled is not enough if no one notices you. She will challenge you to step outside your comfort zone while also providing guidance on how to navigate the process. Kristine will equip you with the tools to showcase not only what you can do but also your perspectives on business and society. Only then do you become a compelling candidate to follow—enhancing your chances of securing board positions.

Christina Endresen, has multiple board positions as both chair and member. She will provide valuable insights into what nomination committees, owners, and boards look for, along with practical tips on how to position yourself, highlight your competencies, and demonstrate your commitment to contributing. You will receive concrete advice on transitioning from a traditional CV to a tailored Board CV. Christina will also discuss how to effectively activate your network and give you a friendly push onto the dance floor.

We prioritize that we are 10-12 for each event, so there will be plenty of time for personal feedback.
