Sustainability and CSRD reporting are “hot” topics where many companies and boards struggle to find the right balance and focus between opportunities and risk. In this workshop we will be guided by two experts from EY, Outi Alestalo and Sara Vikman Areskär, and one of our members, Charlotte af Klercker, who is leading the work at Bioarctic – who will share their expertise and lead an interactive discussion on what is essential from the Boardroom perspective.

Outi Alestalo
Outi has more than 15 years of experience in sustainability reporting and assurance, working with Swedish and international companies across several industries. Outi supports companies in developing and strengthening their sustainability reporting, focusing on connectivity in corporate reporting. Currently, Outi supports companies implement CSRD requirements and advises them on compliance requirements. Outi is Partner and head of EY’s specialist sustainability team, Climate Change and Sustainability Services.

Sara Vikman Areskär
Sara has over 20 years’ experience of supporting companies with developing and strengthening their sustainability strategy, governance and reporting, particularly in conjunction with changes to reporting frameworks and requirements, such as new regulation. She is Associate Partner at EY’s specialist team “Climate Change and Sustainability services” and has also long experience in senior roles in companies.

Charlotte af Klercker
Charlotte has over 20 years’ experience from corporate positions in life science with a focus on communication, sustainability, public affairs and reporting. She currently holds the position as Corporate Sustainability Director at Bioarctic AB, a Swedish research-focused biopharma company, listed on Nasdaq large cap, leading the company’s sustainability strategy and implementation of the CSRD reporting legislation.
